Ceramic workshop “Unicorn Ceramics” is located in Tbilisi and is launched by the painter Maya Baratashvili. Maya had interested in working with pottery about 5 years ago. Over time she walked into Tbilisi Academy ceramic workshop, but then she decided to get more about this technique by herself. She used various online platforms and video lectures to deepen her knowledge. After hardworking, small sculptures, different types of souvenirs, interior accessories, household items are created in the workshop today, the shapes and decoration of which are sophisticated and different. "This is a modern Georgian ceramic based on traditional knowledge, where Georgian clay is mainly used. I want to expand the use of local materials at the expense of their technological processing and create high-quality Georgian pottery. ”- says the master. The master also has experience in teaching pottery techniques and carries out master classes in her workshop.
