The Women’s Day fair

Georgian Heritage Crafts Association has been conducting The women's Day fair since 2016. The exhibition had different donors in different years: US Embassy, USAID Zrda Activity in Georgia, and USAID Economic Security Program.

Before the exhibition, a product development training. The training aims to summarize the experiences of last year's fairs and highlight new trends and products on demand. The workshop is divided into the brainstorming part based on the wide range of visual material prepared by the trainer.

In addition, the workshops have been followed by individual consultations which refined the design ideas and helped the makers during the production process. The individual consultations involved both face-to-face and online communication. 

About 70 masters from all over Georgia take part in the exhibition. The purpose of this activity is to support craftsmen in developing their products, selling them in the local market, and also increasing their financial income.
