Ceramic master Efemia Tskhvitava is an art historian by profession and has been painting since childhood, so a special passion for art influenced her future profession. She has been working on ceramic for more than two years in one of the workshops in Tbilisi. She always tries to develop her possibilities and knowledge in this field of art. Also, she has experience working on enamel. “Working with clay is a big pleasure for me, every working day is a new adventure because there is always something new to discover. As an art historian and a painter, I always try to use motifs from Georgian art and culture. My inspirations mostly are medieval Georgian wall paintings, jewelry, architecture details, “Blue Tablecloth” ornaments, and others. The culture of my country is full of beautiful artworks, and it always gives me new inspiration and motivation to do something new, interesting, and wonderful things.”- says the master. She creates different kinds of works such as accessories, jewelry, etc. All of them are modern and practical products that are inspired by Georgian art.
